  • Do I need to drive to the Beach?

    Yes, there are several sandy beaches but the nearest is 10k at St Johns Point and about the same distance to Inver.

    Will the house be warm when we arrive in Winter?

  • Yes, when the weather is chilly we have the heating on timer so that it is on at your expected arrival time.  For your added comfort there are electric blankets on all beds. For guests of the Garden Apartment we also light the stove  in advance of your arrival. We depend on you to text us with your expected arrival time when en-route. It seems to be what our guests like most.

  • Do we have to arrive at a set time?

    No, there is a keysafe at the front door, and we will email or text you with the code so that you can arrive at any time.

  • Are pets allowed?

    Yes pets are welcome. There are tiles / hardwood floors though out so we don’t mind dogs.  Dogs themselves love the space, the garden and the walks at the beach. We don’t allow them in bedrooms though.

  • Is the pub near enough to walk to it?

    Absolutely, it is just 2 minutes walk to a choice of 4 decent pubs in the village.

  • Is the food OK at the village Takeaway?

    We have had Fish and Chips a few times and it was fine. It’s is always very busy so that is a good sign. You can phone in an order, the details
    are at the house.   It is closed on Sundays.

  • Is there Wi-Fi or any internet connection at the house?

    Yes,  WIFI is available in both apartments.

  • What are the options regarding payment?
    Deposit of €100 secures booking with balance payable 1 month before arrival unless a late availability booking.
    Payments can be made by post, Account Transfer or Paypal.  Note that you don’t need to have a PayPal account to make online payments with the PayPal Payment system.  Customers who don’t have a PayPal account can check out as normal with a credit card.
  • What is the CANCELLATION policy?
    >2 months: Full refund
    1-2 months: 50% refund
    <1 month: No refund unless an alternative booking is secured.  We will make the dates available immediately and it depends upon demand then.
